I Was Attacked At Work Yesterday.

I agree. I'm not upset at all that I won't be working there anymore. The boss proved herself to be a dick and I definitely don't want to be working with that other woman. I also found out from a friend that all of them didn't like me at all, but then I asked the woman who hired me why she would bring me into an environment where I wasn't really liked or wanted in the first place, when she had the power to say yes or no? She has not gotten back to me with an answer yet, and she's had all day to respond. I know she's read my message, she just isn't replying...

As hard and unfair as this all is right now, I think you're well rid of that poisonous workplace environment.

I do too, but I am shocked at the way it went down. Makes me wonder if there is a global, abnormal 'full-moon' cycle going on with all this crazy-making behavior these days.....:confused:

Oh, there is definitely something going on. I think someone else asked if it's a full moon yesterday as well. :D I dont' think it is, it's only half moon I think.

This person was just making me her punching bag to take all her own stuff out on. I may have annoyed her, but that doesn't mean it has anything to do with me. I think she must have seen things in me that she didn't like about herself. I gave her no reason to dislike me...and I'm a pretty likable person. Just because I didn't buy her version of "the truth" i.e that we are all being controlled by reptilian lizards...does not make me unlikable...except in her deluded eyes.

Wish the hell someone was there to witness the attack, and very sorry to read that your manager elected to fire you both. You do though have a good attitude about it and you were right when you said in your initial post, "After she was yelling at me for a while, and actually critiqued my poor skills of abuse??? Yes, you read that right...she actually dissed me on my lack of "top abusing skills"...to which I replied "That's a GOOD thing!"

That is a good thing. And I'm surprised that cameras aren't used. I work under surveillance at some of my client's homes, and it is security for me as well as for them.
