it isn’t turned into food, energy, yeah, but it cannot replace all the vitamins, mineral and other nutrients you need. Body fat goes to ketone bodies/carbon dioxide, we cannot live on eating just ketone bodies and waste carbon dioxide. Short term it keeps you alive but it’s just energy, cells need more than energy.Stop thinking about food or be BMI 13.5 already so at least that makes it more ? justifiable ?? I shouldn't be hungry if the stored fat layer can be turned into food.
Obese people can still starve to death before they use all stored fat. metabolised stored fat layer ≠ eating dietary fat (food)
Also the body will use muscle protein if not enough fat is available. Heart is muscle.
We need food.
Hunger and needing to eat isn’t about how much fat is left.
