Thank you for your work on this forum. It has to be a daunting task to read all the PM messages, new member postings etc. I do feel that although the words of the message are acceptable, and the rules reasonable (as this site is managed by you), the only thing I would recommend is applying understanding when sending the message. Perhaps by tailoring to the individual, primarily when someone is in the process of being triggered, or in some other distress - as opposed to neglect. In some manner acknowledging the distress, while reminding them of the requirements.

Again, thank you for all of your hard work.

I am new to this forum and I think that if the warning is sent to help correct and remind then, it should be welcomed any member, (especially myself, as I have memory difficulties and deficits due to PTSD and other chronic illnesses). Perhaps the problem lies within the wording, but I believe it is most likely due to the perception of punishment and penalty as opposed to correcting a problem (which may or may not be caused by a simple mistake or oversight). Just my two cents, I hope it is helpful.

Hey DrDanger and Lewie Lionheart,

I think we need to look on this as though it is the first taste we have of all or nothingness getting left at the door.

I have some memory and concentration issues also and computers rile me, they can get me all scrappy and stuff. I have trouble- well had trouble with automatic responses, and typing here and then trying to find the first way to post etc was daunting, but while it took me outside my comfort zone, and it did freak me out, I have to say, it did not take as long to move on from and it did help me to know that the people here mean business.

I believe better that I can trust that when we are told they are looking out for us they are. So in that way it helped me some.

I think it can help us to get stronger if we look at it differently. This is only my opinion, as I can see where everyone is coming from and it did concern me, but I did get over it. And frankly if I had not been able to cope with that at all then I would have been in worse trouble if I was posting a thread than if I had not received an infraction on my first time out.

We read here and then we step out of our comfort zone, and an infraction if we receive one is part of that.

I hope that this helps looking at it the way I do, I have written loads before on this so...And as I have also said before no matter how we go about, some parts of life are going to trigger and worry us, but the thing is we need to get through that somehow, and that is something that this forum helps us with.
