What is it about a vet with ptsd feeling good when being with someone that all changes and goes to Hell when he has sex with that someone?
What is it that makes emotional intimacy and physical closeness so impossible for some ptsd vets? Can someone please tell me?
What is so awful about me offering him emotional and physical love? It's genuine and I miss him.
It's been two months since we were together and I've thought of him many times every day. I ran into him last week. He's been seeing someone else for almost two months. I asked if he is with the one he loves. He said, "No! There's no love in it at all! Just a friend, really."
What should I take that to mean? I love him. He knows that. He and I were getting close. Why would he be with someone else, with no love between them?
Please help me understand, so I'll have a better chance of letting go. I want to let go, but I'm stuck trying to understand what happened between us.
