Hi My name is Kim and my partner suffers from chronic PTSD. He served in Rwanda and was at the kibeho massacre with UNAMIR 2. He was discharged from the army, so he lost his military career, nursing career and his family. I am his third wife and the last one he will have. I would do anything for him and have studied as much as l can find on PTSD. As his wife and carer l still don't have a grasp on his low self esteem and the horrors he relives every day of his life.
It is great to find a forum that has so many brave people living with the trauma of PTSD and knowing there are people who understand what it is like not just those who have PTSD but those who are on the outside trying to reach their vets.
