General Is Guilt A Symptom?

Mrs. T, I dont think someone could immediately find out who you two are. But I do understand the worries. I told my love that I am writing here, because it helps me, he was not happy but when I told him he could read if he wanted to, he was ok. Dont think he ever did, but he has the choice.

And I have to add, the over secured behavior is the one my love also has :D

H knows I have been on here. I don't think he has any interest in reading posts here. He doesn't ask many questions and I tell him minimal, except I tell him things I have learned...if the timing is right.

Btw trembling, the diagnosis of ptsd is new to us too. Just a few months senior to you.

Hello all,

My H also feels deep guilt that he survived when others perished. He still sees and smells them. This adds to his lack of self esteem and so any criticism adds to his guilt.

I know what that feels like. Our wars may be different, but the guilt and lack of self-esteem remain. i find that my memory has worsen over time,alongside my depression. I think my depression has made me aware of my condition, which is shocking but not surprising. Also,I think maybe, no matter what we try to do, the emptiness or sadness is deep.
