Is This Normal?

So this isn't a super lengthy post or anything in that nature. So I've only been texting this lady for a few days and we have texted back and forth fairly quickly. Well today she will reply like every other hour. Yes I know she is probably busy as I've been in this position before. For some reason it drives me up the wall. I get super worried that it's not working out. Can any one relate? Please ignore any spelling errors, I'm on a new device.

I would say texting is very time consuming. If you just met she may feel things are moving too quickly and is wanting to slow it. down. Maybe just don't panic and just let her set the pace. You can possibly just talk to her about your feelings. Everyone has a little different texting etiquette I suppose.

Yeah a lot of people get annoyed when someone doesn't text back instantly. We live in a very instant gratification type world.

It will take me 2 or 3 days to text someone back sometimes. Anyone who expected me to text back in under an hour would make me run. I would try and relax. People are busy, and texting is often very inconvenient. You can talk on the phone while making dinner, but you can't text. I understand it is making you anxious so take some deep breath and and find something to occupy your mind. Try and stay busy your self read a book, play a video game, or anything else that requires mental stimulation.

Are you asking if it's normal for someone not to respond instantly to a text, or if it's normal to feel worried that someone isn't responding instantly to your texts?
