Back last semester there was a kid that was using the bathroom stalls to change from his swim trunks into his clothes. That's ok, I figure some do that and some don't. This kid, though, he was, last semester, crying and begging God to forgive him. From the dialogue I can tell he's Mormon.

Well, he was back, and doing it again. In tears for being naked, crying, begging God to forgive him for being unclothed. And I'm like "Wow!" I won't get into the suspected causes, but he was crying an begging God to forgive him for being naked, though momentarily.

And I saw him this time. Young man, about 14-15 years in age. Face red, eyes swollen from crying. I correct myself- I strongly feel this poor kid is a victim. Of what, I cannot say. But...my God!, he was torn up for just changing clothes! Who could do that to this poor kid? This is beyond evil.

I feel so sorry for the kid.

Well, there is absolutely no such tenant in the LDS faith forbidding this, so something is definitely up.

Any way you can report this as suspicions of abuse to CPS?

Last I checked, teens that age were children even in very skewed-about-childhood areas of the world.

When you see him next ask if you can help him. Everyone on this site wished someone was there to listen or help when they needed it.

Sorry, I never messaged you back avoidance and all that B.S.:sorry: I wish I was shocked by this. The LDS may have no tenant forbidding nakedness, but it is very much a blame the victim society. It makes it impossible to reach out around here, and when you do..

You don't want to spook the kid, because who knows what he has been told, but I would leave him a note with resources such as the the Boys-town hotline and Raiin. The boys-town hotline does not connect you to the hotline from Uhellni (my new word for it). Go slow, a hello here, casual chit chat there. Maybe offer him a book about trauma?

Cactus, this is not what you think it is. Something is very, very wrong here. You must report it to the authorities. My gut instinct is that someone is abusing this kid.....:(

Cactus, the police have child psycologists on call, who can evaluate what is going on with this kid. Don't play around with this. You need to get professionals who know what they are doing involved with this, ASAP. This could be the tip of the iceberg, do not delay. :(
