But this is ridiculous!!

Apparently I'm going through a later in life growth spurt! (I'm 33, and yes, it can happen!)

Last month I started to become frustrated that my tops seemed short, and now I'm noticing it with my pants, too. My family suggested that my clothes shrunk. Well, all of them would have had to shrunk, at the same time, even ones I haven't washed since last winter, so no, not an option.

Don't get me wrong, I love not being short, but I now need to do an overhaul of my closet. Shopping is NOT fun b/c tops aren't long enough. And I'm kinda poor =(. Oh blah!!

Why couldn't God have just given me a few nice pairs of heels? =P

Have you had this checked by a doctor? It happened to my friends daughter and proved to be sign of a hormonal problem. I can't remember the detail, as it was 20 years ago, but I know she had to be treated by an endocrinologist to stop it. All I can really remember is that her feet also grew several sizes and she had problems getting pretty shoes afterwards.

I actually grew a full inch in between ages 18-25 and was told by my doctor it does happen and isn't rare at all. Apparently quite a few women don't stop growing till their mid 20's, but 30's? Here's hoping I get another inch! (I'm 5'4 now)

I think I am done. I am five foot six inches tall. I cannot wear heels either. My husband is five foot seven. And he is shrinking.

I guess I'm still within the usual growing ages, and I do seem to have got taller recently. I was 5'7" in the summer and Dec was a bit taller than me. I've taken him over now :p

Oh crap it could be hormonal. My GP said my hormones were off balance (high testosterone) but I attributed it to stress. She said I needed to be on birth control (as if I'm not already moody enough!). The tests were done in June. And, I don't want to be on hormones! I did have aching in my bones for a bit, but it's subsided as I've been taking natural hormonal supplements to balance me out. I sort of brushed off the tests because of a high stress event coupled with normal test results in the past.

Well, at least I can get a few new clothes to make me feel better after donating the too small stuff to the goodwill lol.

My granddaughter who will soon be thirteen years old is almost as tall as me and I am five six and one half.She is going to be a very tall woman.
