I've Been A Member Here For Seven Years Today...

I am happy to say that I've been a member here for seven years today.

I will try to be brief...

As a survivor of severe, prolonged, sexual child-abuse, I think I have grown a lot over this time, and I have hopefully helped someone else along the way as well.

This would not be possible if it weren't for the total awesomeness of the creator / owners and staff of this site, *(not to mention all the awesome members).

I'm getting stronger every day and I am basically a happy camper most of the time!!! I love my family and friends! I love who I am and who I have become since beginning my healing journey! I love being a part of this site.

Life is still hard sometimes but, it is good....I am learning to love myself more and fear life less...every day.

I don't want to brag at all, still I want to say that I am very proud of and thankful for all of my child-selves and also The Creator for getting me through to this point in time!

This goes for all the supportive, encouraging members of this site too...thank you for your compassion and understanding!!!

Thank you for sharing your journey with me...what a beautiful gift of your time and energy!!! You are each miracles and blessings in my book!!!

Lion, I'm happy for you and grateful for all that you've shared on the forum. I know it's personally been helpful to me to read of your struggles and successes over the years. I'm glad for the forum too, and also count it as the key to my own recovery.

Without this forum, I would not be where am I am today. I was so afraid of myself before I discovered, I'm not alone with this.

Healing warrior - I like that :-) Was looking for something like warrior like mantra but healing warrior didnt even struck my mind. And of course as a Lioness lions always are inspiration.

As this post was an inspiration on a day I really needed to belive in laying one stone at the time.
