So yesterday, about an hour after I left my 6 week spinal fusion follow-up appointment with my surgeon, that went extremely well; better than I ever could have hoped it would (which in itself had me feeling like I was walking on clouds), I received an email informing me that I have been awarded a $6000 scholarship to support my Masters degree.
I applied for the scholarship back in February. It is awarded based on academic merit to support research in a particular area, and my university only awards one per year.
And this year, it was to me.
