I know exactly what you mean Jim. I had it straight from bob, and let me say, that is scary when you have no prior knowledge of what to expect. We have no control over the outcome of what comes back to us basically, and the human mind doesn't like not having control. You have done great though Jim, and more importantly, I like what you did with Evie at that support group... well done, your education is helping her and others, being those at the support group, merely by showing them at the same time, one persons biased opinions are not always the best information to base your knowledge. People must know all sides of arguments, all facts, and be allowed to determine their own opinions, just as you have. Well done mate.

Would be difficult going into a situation not knowing what to expect. Imagine it would be quite intimidating. However. I'm discovering it's good.

Well thank you Anthony. I have enjoyed learning about PTSD and hope to continue. Agreed, those people in the support group deserve to be as educated as possible. That nurse has not been doing her job. Shameful really.

Speaking of which, that article Evie contributed. I am amazed. It was very well done. She mentions somewhere having handouts from the support group. Well, I read those handouts and she simply used them as a guide. Did a lot of the actual work herself. Really, she surprised me. I'm very encouraged.

Uncle, do you really totally hate Dad? If you really hate him, why do you want to keep his medals? Don't you ever wish he was still alive? Do you feel sorry for him ever? If he had survived the shooting, would you still talk to him and let him come to the house? If he went to prison, would you visit him there? Would you let me see him if I wanted to?
