One of my best Christmases ever was completely non-traditional. Not even a tree (although there was a bonfire, so a tree was somewhat involved, it certainly didn't come through unscathed). You don't have to recreate someone else's -or even your own- idea of Christmas. Bring her along on your Christmas. As planned.
