Just Checking In

Hey guys haven't been around much this weekend. Had a pretty good weekend with my son(almost 16 months) and is finally learning how to crawl!!! (Had a feeding tube put in his belly and is too painful for him to roll.) That was awesome to see in person!!! Did some fishing, some with my little brother(combat vet) and our father(navy). Didn't talk/see my wife much. Oh well. Just trying to give her the time and space she "needs". But all in all, pretty good. how was your weekend???

Awesome Dave.
I spent the night of the fourth at the bar getting cross faded. Kids were launching artillery fireworks and I ran the streets hammered in flip flops and embraced the celebration. With out a care in the world. Got some digits. Played some pool. Was cut off from the alcohol and damn near had a brawl at the end. When the f*ck will I ever learn. Oh well it's behind.

Amazing how we think that "this time will be different" - Yeah, right!

The last time I got cut off was back in 89. last thing I heard was "sir , I think you may have had enough" The next thing I recall was hearing the cop "watch your head getting in the car asshole". Wasn't the first time but it was my last. Thank God that's done with - at least for today.
