I am new to this site as well although I have been diagnosed years ago. I have had wonderful words of encouragement and hopefully the more you get to know about PTSD the less frightening it will seems to you. hi your heALTH is the most important thing right now .I jobis IS just trading time for money . I retited from my job of 15 years on the ptsd thing . There are many was for you gain income with your ptsd example if it happened on the job thers workersmans comp. If not on the job an have a very good doctor ( YOU DO NOT NEED A LAWYER ) You can collect S.S.D.

Void- I agree with "Trishok", Void is a misnomer. I, too, have found wisdom and support in your words, and felt better because of it.
If you are feeling "empty" that is exactly the right time to be "filled up" with something better.

Try to do something nice (even small) for yourself each day, or something you enjoy.

Void, I also think there is much more to you than you can believe yet.

When I think of a void, I think of the inside smooth spiral inside many shells. The space becomes smaller as we trace back to the early life of the shell. smaller and darker deep inside - then spiralling out again gradually opening out to a lighter and brighter place.
