Just for today I will exercise and not berate myself for how I can't do as much as I think I should. I will try not to be anxious about it. Now just to get over the anxiety over it and, as the slogan says, just do it!
Just for today I will not let the news that my son hasn't been doing his homework and lying to me put me in such a tizzy that I am knocked out for the day and won't be able to deal with it by the time he gets home. Usually when I get upset and stressed I end up knocked out because of my chronic illness. Stress really sucks the life out of me. Today I will doing everything I can to not allow that to happen.
Just for today, I will stay focused on the good things in life; ...(the smile of a baby, a mother's love, family/friends, healing progress, peaceful slumbering, a warm fire, a home-cooked meal etc., etc.).
Just for today, I will laugh. I will be spontaneous, playful and alive. :):p:giggle:
Just for today, I will remind my loved ones that they are loved. (hear that forum friends....you are loved!!!) :inlove:
Just for today I will love all of me, scars and all.
Just for today, I will take it easy and not dwell on all the negatives in my life. I will not worry about the crises situation and I will trust that what is I can accept and learn and grow from it.
Just for today I will allow myself a little pity party, with an arm around my shoulder's, and then I will move on. I may not be able to change the situation I am in for awhile, but I can change how I deal with it.
