20 year, infantry, special forces, retired dec 1981, taught high school for 26 years retired from teaching 2004. have had Ptsd since 3 nov 1966. lived in the bottom of a bottle for many many years , but never missed a day at work. glad to have found this site. had tours in Benning, lots at Bragg, Hawaii, Panama, Vietnam. helped put the 196lib together at Mass.

There are a few of us here so you're in good company. Pull up a chair and get comfortable Bro.

Didn't do 20, I bailed after 3 years 9 mo 2 days which included 16 mos in I CORP. Aug 66 got out and stayed crazy and juiced for too many years. Sober for 24 didn't find out about the PTSD until 2009 didn't miss too many days either. Unfortunately there were many days that my body showed up but my mind was a NO-SHOW.
