Last movie or tv series you watched?

Wow I rewatched Empire of the Sun last night, so blown away by the performances but Christian Bale? 13 years old and he basically carried the movie. The supporting cast was also spectacular. John Malkovich in particular. Not an easy film for trauma survivors but I knew I was in the mood and up for it. It made me cry of course.

pacific rim, with my friend. I enjoyed it, the acting was stiff/unnatural in a lot of places but the concept was cool and I liked the kaiju designs. it was interesting, the introduction roped me in, would watch the second one if my friend invites me to.
kid-in-distress scenes always mess me up so I did cry a bit.
had a lot of concepts that can be done a lot with and built on, which I like, even if they don't expand on them themselves.

I am having a super-hard time finding anything I can watch all the way through. Nothing appeals to me anymore. The latest, which I still find comforting, is Bones. And, of course, Big Bang Theory, although everything is just blah right now.

I watched “The Eye Has To Travel”— a documentary about 50s and 60s Vogue editor Diana Vreeland. I’m not into fashion but I enjoyed it because she had a remarkable personality. When asked what epitomized fashion for her she said, “A racehorse being led out to the track” and it made so much sense.

@Lost in the Woods I watched that documentary about the halfway community for pedophiles about ten years ago and was just talking about it in session last week. It’s a fairly arresting look at the variety of people labeled with that crime.
