Sufferer Late fifties and recently diagnosed with C-PTSD

New Here
In the last three years, I was diagnosed with C-PTSD after suffering severe personal and work issues. I am talking to a therapist, and the treatment is going well. However, I started a new job and am facing severe anxiety. I am faking my way through my fears but becoming worn out. Any advice?

Its nice to hear your therapy is going well, maybe ask if you can get treatment especially for the severe anxiety or maybe it gets to a point that meds might be needed.
I have reallyyy extreme anxiety too but never exactly tried to 'get rid of it's haha so it's a bit vague.

right place to be, welcome. there is a lot of info hear, answers to be found.
me? also approaching the finish of a long work history, also faking tolerance and ability to cope at work, i applaud you for making a fresh start, wether you made the decision or it was forced on you it takes determination to keep putting one foot in front of the other. i struggle with it, like i am nearing the end of a marathon and running on fumes. Less than 2 years to go, still hard to do, every day. PTSD is a hard burden to carry and there just isnt much left for the loads others want to drop on us.
fight on, here with you

Keep on keeping on. Mid 50s here. You still have strength to get through. Having Therapy and finding what works for you will help moving forward. Be kind to yourself. This condition sucks for sure. But there are ways through it.
