I can't get over this feeling of impending catastrophic doom approaching and it is wrecking me. I think the Dog and I are just going to lay in bed and I'll talk to him. He'll listen as long as I scratch his ears. It's amazing, simply amazing, how loneliness and missing someone can get so terribly bad this time of year. I even called my GP's office just to have someone to talk to. Well, I've got Dogs and a Cat and they say the best cure for loss is puppy breath and cat purring. May be the only real cure. I don't want to become pill bottle dependent to live the rest of my life. In the spirit of "Never give up!" Happy Holidays everyone.

Dogs Are The Best. Cats will teach you equanimity. But a dog... Dogs and horses prove (to me at least) that God loves us... maybe even best. :) You can't be alone with a dog, because a dog is always With you.

Never never never give up! It is just a feeling LBear, and no feeling is final. Keep breathing and notice that between each breath there is a space. And in that space there is peace, where you can rest, even for just a second. The cat can show you this too :) PRRRRRR.

Happy Holidays. Really the only part I like is the lights. All the little twinkly colored lights. I liked the gifts when I was little, but now, it is not so important. The songs too, some of them. "Silver Bells" is one I like alot.
