lol @Poofycat - ok so Yoga Nidra went really well - so well in fact I think Hank loved it. He was sitting on the floor on his rug and I was sitting in the relax position. As I proceeded through the video, Hank fell asleep and seemed very relaxed. I think we will do this together each week.
Mostly I have been doing treadmill running and weight lifting on alternate days so that i can stay with Hank.
We are going to be venturing out further this weekend and I will see how he does with all the outside details. He's pretty thin still and regaining his strength so I won't be running with him until he's stronger.
Hoping for a leisure skate this weekend and one outside long run. My neighbour sits with Hank while I need to run out for a bit. She's quiet and loves to sit with him while she studies. She says she likes the way he breathes : )
Stopping after a half hour stretching and 1 set weights. Noticing a lot of pain yet I think from the increased weight, and some pain in the ligament of one of my elbows (the arm recovering from injury). Hmmm, wondering what happened there. Think I am going to let this day suck and get a bit of extra rest not wanting to mess something up and recheck form. Could very likely be aggravated from something I did at work vs. the work out. Don't want to push things to fast.
Yesterday was a bust because I had a rough session with my T on Wednesday evening. I literally felt like I had been hit by car yesterday. Started today with 30 minutes of very gentle hatha yoga. Feeling better now.
