So this week has pretty much kicked my arse.

Just doing activities for the little one has me clocked at 4km a day, not including walks/jogs.

After day 4 of half hrly night waking, I threw in the towel, refused to leave the house except for park excursions.

Then I figured if I couldn't run, skipping while bub played in the park would be easier.

Wrong. Murder, horrible cardio murder!

So I kept that up, and found an awesome YouTube channel.

Now do jogs and a half hour of Pilates twice a day.

Anyone who thinks Pilates is for pussies needs to do just 30min of this once!

This fat is coming off dammit!

Wow lots of people are really working it. For me I am starting slow and working with a Sensei to learn karate. It's been about 5 years since I've done any regular exercise.

Today we started with stretching and posture. Then got right into three blocking movements, a left and right jab and a left and right cross punch. We put them together in a pattern on repeat for a while in the stance I learned on Monday. We finished up with learning a new stance to practice. In all it took about 30 mins of class time. Now it's up to me to practice what I am learning between classes.

Shit I stopped that effectiveness years ago
@anthony lol. Despite my best efforts I still manage to find myself overestimating my 'superpowers' of jumping icy gaps and other obstacles with a single bound. It's hurting my pride more than anything else.

@Tanishq, thank you so much for your thoughts. I will take good care. You too my friend.

Had a later meeting this afternoon so I cut my run back to 5.7 kms plus my run was on a busy and very icy street so I took it easy and didn't bounce once!!
