Here in Scotland the Scottish Parliament also banned smoking on buses especially on double deckers, on trains and smoking in shopping centres, and even bus shelters that are enclosed. Unfortunatley in Edinburgh they go to extremes, they have what the locals call the Fag Gestapo. Its these jobsworths in uniform that follow smokers about and if they drop a butt on the ground rather than a bin, they give you an on the spot fine.
When I smoke in the house, I go out to the door or hang out of the window and have a smoke. Because I don't want my kids breathing in my smoke, plus my wife is an avid non-smoker.
But as for not smoking on the beaches, that's a bit extreme.

You cant smoke at the footy up here there is a special designated area outside the ground you get a stamp on your arm so you can return to the game when you gave your smoke!
All the pubs and clubs have a special fenced off area outside.
Its funny when you drive past the pubs through the day there are more people outside than inside!

Yep, you can pretty much say, anything that is public here, your not allowed to smoke within. It is accepted though, as those who smoke do so at their own peril, and people know the risks of smoking, and anyone with respect for others, would not argue it anyway, because why would anyone want to push something that is proven to be harmful onto others? I totally agree with our laws here and accept them. I think its all about respect, nothing much else.

No offense taken. Actually when I'm well, I look quite good at a size 2-3. At size 14 or even 12, I would be obese. I am very petite just naturally, a lot smaller than most women. And short too. But I was born that way... this is my natural body type. I think that's the problem. Most women are taller and not so petite, yet they are trying to look like a very small fine-boned person, instead of accepting themselves the way they are. I think women of all sizes are attractive personally, as long as they are not skeletal or morbidly obese.

True. Like my mum being a healthy weight in a kids 12 whereI am most definately (at least) a womans 12.

Yup definitely height has a lot to do with it. I am very short! Actually I think tall women look very attractive with a bit of extra weight. They carry it well.

Yes Evie thats right, you only have to look at Rod Stewart's girlfriend Penny Lancaster to see that. She is over 6ft tall and looks absolutely stunning, especially after having her first child last year.
But small girls can be beautiful as well, like yourself Evie. Its whats inside the girl thats important as well isn't it.
