Hi there,

I'd love to get in touch with PTSD sufferers in Germany, anywhere really. I myself live in Berlin so getting together would be great at some point!

Would also love to get in touch (via e-mail) with PTSD sufferers anywhere. I am 36, traumatized and retraumatized and finally aiming what I should have been aiming at for a long time: PTSD. Male, female, around my age would be great!

Hope to hear from you!

Much love and light,

Hannah

@CraftyCath: Hi back to you. :) Thanks for replying! Have you ever been to Germany? BTW, I am not looking for Germans for speaking German with about PTSD, but just to meet someone who's close-by.

@myvetswife: Sorry I haven't replied earlier. Where in Germany are you? (Is there a possibility to PM a person on here?)

@Nadia: Are you THE Nadia (Saturday for coffee/tea)?

@Anna: Again, sorry. Do you have people to talk about close-by about PTSD-related things?

Hope you're all well.

Moin Moin! Hannah

No, not really I do not have anyone to talk to about it. However, I have met some people who are very similar to me. Noone has broken the ice yet about PTSD but we all know we are suffering if you know what I mean? Somehow attracted to each other. Spending time with birds of a feather who understand and whos company you enjoy is very important.

I have met some great people on this forum as well. You can PM people by using the conversation.

Have you ever been to Germany?

Hi prime-no,

No, I haven't been to Germany. I have been invited many times but I don't have a passport. My husband was in the RAF and his best friend was stationed in Germany. He married a German lady and me and his wife have been in touch ever since. She has come over from Germany to visit but unfortunately I have never been able to do the same.

@Nadia: Looking forward to tomorrow! :) (And to the cake, sounds great!)

@Anna: That sounds good, and, yes, it's important to have people around you you feel you belong with and who are good for you. :) It is really good to be on this forum. Finally people who understand what PTSD symptoms really are like! Oh, and thanks for the explanation about the conversations. :)

@CraftyCath: It's great you've stayed in touch though! Maybe one day you'll have the chance, if you want to go. There are many areas that are really beautiful places to be, especially when it comes to nature or culture, i.e. in Berlin.
I totally adore the west coast Ireland, the beauty of its landscape. Only been there once but I so long to go back. :)
