Hi all,

I was diagnosed with PTSD many years ago, and I have found it difficult to find support for the type of trauma (childhood sexual & cult abuse from family) that triggered it. I would like to connect with people who understand and also be there for others who are still dealing with trying to heal from trauma. Thanks so much!

Welcome to the forums! There are several here who have dealt with both types of trauma so I’m sure you will find lots of support here. I didn’t have anything to do with cults but I did have a lot of CSA.

You are among friends here. I know nothing about cults, but did suffer childhood sexual abuse - as did many others here on the forum. I hope you find it helpful.

I too, suffered ritual abuse from family and CSA. Everything about it is truly awful. I am sorry that you also went through that. I would like therapy and help for that, so I am/feel less afraid.

IME not so rare if you look for multi generational incest victims, or incest victims where most or all of the original family (ie. both parents, and siblings) are abusers.

Thank you for coming here, and sharing with us. Support cannot exist if no one is willing to seek it.

I did have CSA, from around 2 or 3 years old, that really just continued into my teens and then my adult life too. So I may be able to relate to some things...but my family was oblivious to it and not involved, and there was no ritual or group stuff that I can remember.

If there's ever anything we can do for each other here, we just need to ask. You are now a part of that. :)

Round here CSA is usually a reference to Child Sexual Abuse. And there’s a huge number of us on this forum.

There’s also a lot of cult and/or ritual abuse survivors here, and a smaller number of SRA (satanic ritual abuse) survivors;)
