Major Flooding Disaster Hits Queensland Australia

Here are some pictures of the current flooding in Queensland which is now traveling south into NSW.

It is catastrophic and so sad for those involved.

I have followed it on the news here, and some people have lost their lives. Devastating for all involved. I hope all our members 'down under' are safe and away from danger.

Yes, it was on our news just now in fact. So sobering. It's been a dreadul morning with so many tradgedies-our Arizona massacre so fresh and now this. Prayers to all, and will continue.

Here in the States, other news had come to prominence so I had not seen much on the flooding for the last few days. Strange though that I had a dream last night. Can't remember all of it but I think someone was showing me pictures online and there was a small group of young men or kids posing near the water and they were unaware of a croc's presence at the water line. It was right behind them.

The small town I grew up in was flooded regularly and the flood waters sometimes isolate all access to the town. But there are NO CROCS! :eek:

To all the members around Queensland, I understand how overwhelming a flooding could be - lived through that in the Saguenay region in 1996. As for the members in Arizona and all members who have suffered any reality concerning guns, my prayers are your way

I have been following this online, as the tv news about it has been hit or miss. What a large-scale disaster. I hope things improve soon.

My thoughts are with those affected by the floods. Water can do so much harm in a very short period of time.

To all those involved or even close to the Arizona shootings I am at a loss for words. How can one person harm so many peoples lives .

I think it will take a long time beyond the initial shock for people who are actually IN queensland to process the reality of this. Best wishes to you and yours. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Hope you are ok. I have certainly been one of the lucky ones. Thinking of those not so lucky and wishing them the best.
