I am a Marine Combat vet with 100% service connection for PTSD, I was referred here by ptsdforum.org

I was hoping there were some vets in Colorado I could reach out to

I lost my clearance, and as a result, by job because of PTSD, I was wondering if anyone has a similar problem to this, I created a petition on the whitehouse page, but I guess I can't share it yet since I don't have enough posts

Welcome, Marine. The weapons I can understand. If you're 100% for PTSD your emotions and actions are expected to be pretty far out there. Having a weapon around with that much turmoil is dangerous to you and those around you. While I personally feel that pulling your clearance, unless you're dealing with nukes or something, is over the top.

It may be a good time to consider "retiring". Have you applied for Social Security yet? Will you receive a pension from your previous employer? Some employers have insurance for employees that become disabled while they are working for the company.

Sorry to ask such personal questions, but if you can live on your disability income, go fishing somewhere. Seriously. Why put up with the stress at work?

Semper Fi! I live currently in Cheyenne in some VA housing (divorcing homeless crap) but I call Ft Collins area home.
I am more than ok with chatting anytime. I have been out of the Marines about 20 years.
I had a clearance of T/S AB when I was in. 0231 Amphib. Intel warfare.
