I believe we marry those that challenge us the most to grow. Most growth needs some challenge but too much challenge can literally erode the love and intimacy. It seems you and your husband both lacked some empathy for each other and truly replaying your childhood all over but not processing it properly. You could leave him but the chances are you will find same guy with different name or stay alone and yearn for love forever cause when you get it, it is challenging.
