I have seen my Chiropractor off and on for probably 15 yrs. Marc always comments on how rigid and tight my muscles are all the time....2 weeks ago he said that I really needed massage therapy as my neck, shoulders and back were like bricks. (Gee like I didn't already know this????) It's one of the biggest problems I have is relaxing my muscles and body.
Anyway, I mentioned to him that I drive by this place that offers fully clothed massage for $17.00 for 40 minutes. He was leery, and it made me a little leery too. BUT....... Today I just couldn't take the pain in my back, neck and shoulders any longer. So I decided to at least go and check the place out. I walked in and it was super clean, well kept and the receptionist was nice. So we talked and it turns out that they offer 2 different kinds of massage. One is hands on, and the other is a MIGUN BED!!!!
I settled on the Migun bed and for 40 minutes I let it work it's magic. I feel awesome, except for the calf of my left leg. For some reason my calf was extremely sensitive to the massage to the point that it actually hurt, and still does. I figure it's just knotted muscles that will have to work themselves out.
I would recommend this type of massage to anyone that can't handle people touching them. I actually am going back next week.... I can't wait....Hopefully it will alleviate the issues I am having with my lower back and neck....
