We're currently looking for a few members who would like to submit their stories for publishing within the upcoming newsletter. Don't panic, you don't need to submit some grammatically correct story, or even anything remotely professional, as our editors will correct all of that for you.

Your story of trauma, PTSD and journey of healing could be completely anonymous, which means you should intentionally use random names and locations, so nothing you write can be ascertained to yourself if anonymity is your aim. If you want total anonymity, even your writing style won't matter, as our editors can completely revamp your story to their writing style, so it can't be linked to your writing style here.

You don't need to be recovered, you may only just be starting your journey... its here nor there. If you're interested, then get writing and please submit it using the newsletter submission form, linked from the home and forum home pages.

I'm just wondering out loud here. . . . would the 're-vamped' version be sent to the member for approval, prior to being included, or not?

It can be, if those are the terms a member wants, I will honour them... though I don't really understand the need for it if written using false names and places to begin with. We can certainly show you a copy prior to publication for your approval, though I certainly don't believe further permission need be sought considering once submitted. It is merely working out an agreed version after editing, if any further changes are desired.

People write anonymously all over this forum, publicly, about their trauma. Nobody knows who they are unless the person has told someone. Editors will simply change things up further, to ensure the writing style cannot be linked to your writing style here if you want anonymity.

@TonyG If your account is linked to an email account you can access, you should be able to use the "forgot password?" function at log in to temporarily reset your password.
