Typical, I buy new lipstick and colour my hair. Lots of people notice, think I'm looking better, happier and more confident. Even my T noticed and yes, he is a man.

H has been away, he came home last night. We hugged and kissed, I didn't mention my hair and neither did he. OK let's see if he notices and how long it takes. As he put his dirty laundry in the basket, he noticed the towel I'd used with dye on it. He comes downstairs and say, 'have you coloured your hair. It doesn't look much different' - Aaaargh.

And I've had this for nearly 31 years, it must be true :inlove:

I love little stories like this; I always find them to be the truest depiction of love :barefoot: and their funny, lol. It must seem frustrating but he might not have noticed because he always thinks you look good. But just for comparisons sake: My prof. recently we were working together- he looked at me as said you got your nails done. I said sure did. Though in the back of my mind I was saying sure did, 3 weeks ago;)

Okay many times we (not all men though) are with our women for their brains not their beauty outside! What is inside you he addores. Now you want to throw a curve ball and get him to notice your hair/color make up... shave it all off, and make face up as a clown. He'll notice that!

I still catch static from g/f for not noticing she cut her hair. 1/2 inch wake job isnt cutting your hair is my thought but I hold tongue. Coloring to hid grey I notice but again a silent mouth is best.

I do her nails no polish (chemicals) but with ultra fine emery files.

She gets a weekly back rub and a monthly full body massage with argan oil, she loves it but I dont tell her its more for my hands, to keep them strong for rock climbing, and not so dried out from the harsh hand soaps I have to use to keep them clean.

Its cos he thinks you look beautiful all the time what ever your hair style, colour, make up etc He sees your inner beauty not just your outer beauty

You smooth talker:D.

I'm used to him not immediately noticing and I'm comfortable with it, even if it can be frustrating. He is there when it matters and we love each other and more importantly tell one another. Actually after 31 years (on 19 April), I honestly think no-one else would put up with us :roflmao:

KP I have just had a home colour done on my hair this afternoon.

Hubby applied it for me, ( he has done this for years now  ), he has not yet seen the finished result. MM have to admit it is a bit brighter than I thought it would be, but for the summer it is nice.

I will let you know his reaction later. Could be interesting though. :cautious:  :)

I would say, accept that he doesn't always notice when you've had your hair done. (you married a man - what do you expect?!) Be grateful you have a guy, for 31 years!! Wow! I can't keep a man for the length of a date (well, actually, I've given up trying:rolleyes:)
