I started my xmas shopping months ago and go the first 2 boxes of chocolates in yesterday. I am hoping that I recall I got the presents and that the chocolates see the month out.

I used to start buying early and forgot what id bought so ended up buying extra presents ! Saying that i think those i bought for quite liked it ha ha ( i could have saved the pressies for the following year but i do like spoiling people)

I miss buying the toys for my neices and nephews as they are all grown up now so want money or vouchers ! Its not as exciting lol

@jaccat OMG, you poor thing. I can't imagine working in retail during any holidays. Shit I couldn't do it period. I used to waitress and that was bad enough. I remember one guy was giving me shit, and I smiled and told him if he didn't stop, I would dump coffee on his nice white pants. Yeah, I bet he never got those stains out, and he must have had a hot wiener for a bit too. We actually became friends after that.

WELL..... The decorations are up and in the stores. Puke, puke, gag, gag. By the time it does get here...

I don't like it either when that stuff is out there so early in the season. I like christmas but there should be some kind of sensibility. It would be so nice to not always hear the same xmas songs too. Whatever genre I listen to I always like to mix the tunes up or even listen to a different genre.
But at christmas one can hear the same stinking boring songs over again, geez.

@Freedomfighter I hear you about the Christmas songs. It gets so bad that I hate turning on the radio during that time of year. I too think that retailers or whoever, need to have some sense of reality. I mean really, Christmas decorations in mid Sept?!?!? I could go on and on.... I really do get sick of Christmas by the time it gets here because I've seen it, heard it, and it's been crammed down my throat for months and months. If it wasn't for that, I would enjoy it!!!!!
