Today was an interesting day in a good way. Today I met my new therapist and took Jellybean with me. I had informed him ahead of time and he had no issues in fact he was looking forward to meeting the both of us. On the way to the appointment I got the opportunity to educate a young lady on the difference between what a Service Dog and a therapy dog was. She asked me why I had a therapy dog with me. I explained Jellybean was a Service Dog and is task trained where a therapy dog is not tasked trained. She smiled and said thank you. During the appointment she spent half her time at my side and the other half laying by his feet. At point she had her head on his foot which he did not mind. He just looked down and smiled. He was very impressed when I told him how I got Jellybean and why.I explained the tasks she is trained to do and the other tasks we are working on He complimented me for looking for treatment that was as he put it outside the box. He was very supportive about me having Jellybean and told me to keep up the hard work. Today also she did something she has not done. We were coming home from my appointment and were one stop away from getting off the bus she heard a dog bark. She barked back i corrected her. the driver had a sense of humor thank god. She said they must have known each other. I replied apparently they do and she must of felt like she had to get in the last word. I did want to hide under a rock but now that I look back on it I have been taken her with on the public transportation for months now and this was the first time we heard a dog bark and she react to the dog barking by barking back. It just proved to me she is not a robot and like us she makes mistakes. She has been doing amazing so proud of her

Munkinmama, I am happy for you. You had so many good moments today. Jellybean seems very protective of you, sounds all training and bonding paid off. A very good friend for you.

A Gentle Hug For You

Congrats.

In the future can you make paragraphs? That looks really long on a mobile screen.
