That is only for monks or nuns. You can still be a Buddhist without becoming a monk or nun. I've thought about becoming a nun.

Mindfulness simply means to be HERE. NOW.

I think it can also mean acknowledging why you are doing something to help in your healing. Like 'I am taking a shower because I am practicing self care'
