Sufferer Misunderstood Around Civilian Coworkers

No one will advocate. Huh. That just makes me so angry. Makes me wish I was a lawyer instead of what I obviously do. Peace and prayers, I am so sorry about what happened. I'm with Whitney, sometimes forced changes can be the best. Here's to that silver lining. Not exactly sure what you mean by ABC run, but you better behave yourself ;)

In Virginia, the only place to buy liquor is from an ABC store.

It pisses me off.......plenty of veteran advoctes, lawyers, and support. But if you have PTSD with no visible disability, no one wants to stand up for you. Other PTSD sufferers sure, but a lawyer or employer just sit idoly by not wanting to test the waters of this very real issue. If I win the lotto one day, I will begin an organization that provides legal help for PTSD sufferers only (veterans and non-veterans alike). Its a long time coming.

I hope you win that lottery :) That's the problem with issues of the psyche. We've closeted them for years, no one wants to talk about these issues. then we are surprised when we can't get help (the we is figuratively speaking). Until mental issues are treated the same way as gall bladders and diabetes, and spoken about in the fresh air, help and fairness will be difficult to obtain. My heart is out to you.

Isn't it disgusting that PTSD seems to be the new media buzz word!

And the fear mongering "journalism" is all about a lot of them making a name for themselves.

If they had any guts they would stand with the injustice and try to bring out the truth. Sick way to make a living! Whitney
