I don't get why people suggest that if a drug is prescribed it is not tolerated but if it is grown or bought over the counter then it is safe because it is 'natural'. A chemical is a chemical is a chemical. Cannabis is still a drug. Opium comes from natural poppies but it is still a drug. Digitalis that comes from natural pretty foxgloves is a killer in the wrong hands and so is Belladonna from the natural Deadly Nightshade plant...
By all means research different effective drugs, but not on the grounds of whether or not they are prescribed. That is not an indication of their safety just because they do not need a prescription.
