My Cat "blue" Died Today

I have to pick up Blue's ashes..... :cry:. Has anyone had to do this? If so, what did you do with them?

My husband buried my cat Nick in the backyard. My kids and I made a maarker for the grave and planted beautiful flowers around it. Every time I look out in the back yard and see my kids play, I can see the beautiful flowers around her grave, and despite the fact that I miss her, it makes me smile.

I also picked up a adorable kitten. There are so many out there that need someone to love them.

Oh, Linda... I'm so sorry to hear that! That's horrible!!!

Heather - I don't know what to do with them. I have my cats' ashes in a box in the garage. I use to keep them in my office, but I don't have space for them anymore.

((((Heather)))), I just saw this thread today, I'm very late, but I felt the tears coming up when I was reading all this. Animals have such a keen way to be part of a family and at least Blue was sooooo loved by his family. Their memory never goes away. I still remember my Shiva, he was such a special cat. It took me a long time before I felt that I was ready to have another cat but found out that one of my grandson's very allergic to cats. What's worse is that is just as much a cat lover as me. He is double suffering. Blue's soul ... I firmly believe that cats / dogs do have souls ... will take care of his beloved family.

I like that idea of letting them blow in the wind. Maybe in the back yard where he played so, he'd always be there.

So sorry to hear of your loss, only just seen your thread. Sounds like an idea to let them in the garden seeming as he loved is so much there. Take good care.

My daughter is toooo much lastnight she stayed at my mother's and people were walking by the house coming back from the firework's (her house is close to the beach).

Nicole was holding a sign that said her cat passed away and she was sad. And could she have a dollar. HA! That's my girl:roflmao:. Always trying to make a buck. Nice try.

She got a lot of sympathy BUT no cash!
