All the assholes in my life are needing a lovely gift. I'd endure that scent nonsense for that time. Looking it and stinking it flowers sound just about glorious, sweet revenge.

I now have twice as many not matching socks than in the beginning of the year. As useful it may be for understanding times indeed change, it's good for very little else.

My cat has a cold and seems to believe that, whenever she's about to sneeze, she has to come and get really close to my face so that I get totally sprayed. Have yet to teach her to put her paw over her mouth when she coughs or sneezes!

Window cleaner came yesterday. Windows don't look any cleaner.

I need to make an important phone call. I can't bring myself to. But, if I get to the end of the day and I haven't done it, I'll feel very annoyed with myself. I have to make it at some point. I am not gaining anything by putting it off...

I want to go for a walk but it's cold and frosty outside. Looks slippy. Don't want to fall over.

Both my favourite pairs of socks (alpaca) have got holes under the heels. They're expensive and I can't justify buying new ones. They used to be toasty socks but now I have patches of cold on each foot because the floor is very cold.

I don't have any waterproof footwear. My boots and my trainers both leak.

I'm still trapped in aforementioned of cycle of having lots of clean, dry but totally rumpled clothes and bed linen.

We are out of toilet paper in 3 out of 4 bathrooms.
We have both been out numerous times but keep forgetting.
This leads to running upstairs to the only toilet with paper. We used all of the paper napkins as substitute and only have paper towels otherwise.
This means I will leave the house today, making TP a priority, and likely forget something else instead.
First world problems.

Just gave myself a good talking to re procrastinating around making the phone call. Psyched myself up. Made notes. Rehearsed my opening gambit. Dialled.

@watundah - nooooooo! Running low (let along running out) of toilet paper is something that makes me very nervous. I am addicted to buying it. And kitchen roll! Always have tons of the stuff in stock in cupboards. But that's when you can sometimes get caught out when you're used to always having plenty of back up supplies and then suddenly there's nothing left.

Also - you have 4 loos?? Wow! Respect! ;-)

Yes, sounds glamorous, but place is actually small, so 4 small bathrooms that combined would make 1 nice, big one.

that are plaguing me and keeping me from sleeping nights....


How come when you open a can of evaporated milk, it's still there?
