My Hemoglobin Levels Are At 11!!!!!!

Whoo hoo!!!!!! :joyful::joyful::joyful: No one in their right mind should be this excited over hemoglobin levels but I am.

11! I want to shout for joy no more blood transfusions for a while. I literally am crying with relief right now. It has taken my 8 long months to get there. A far cry from my 6.4 I was last june. for those that don't know the normal range is between 11-13, That puts me in the normal range!

I went to the e.r. for tooth pain and abscess the size of a small grape, as well as another infection I have been fighting for months. The did a blood test while I was there.
The E.R. visit sucked, but MY HEMOGLOBIN IS AT AN 11!

My tooth pain may be killing me, and they didn't give me anything for the pain.... but I'll take tooth pain over another blood transfusion thank you very much.

Dearest @Fadeaway as you are aware I am going through a really tough time with my own heamaglobin levels which have dropped below 9 and I have had an endoscopy which has confirmed I have a bleeding duodenal ulcer. I am so very very happy for you my dear friend and your support of me these last few days has been so valuable to me.

Great news!!! Glad to hear that! :hug::hug::hug: I can relate to the problem. I do lots of running and when I wanted to donate blood my hemoglobin was below 8...:cautious: ...too much running destroys the red blood cells. ...do you take any additional stuff to regulate it? :) ....glad to hear that, really!!! :hug:
