My Trip The Good The Bad And The Loss

Well I have just gotten home basically and would like to share my trip with you. We departed from Houston and 4pm on the 16th of May. My daughter was sick and miserable. We arrived in Paris at 10 am in the morning. That being said the equivalent of 4am in the morning. We found our way to the train and we were off. Did I mention miserable.

First stop Notre Dame.

We managed to make it into the cathedral a few minuets before the service. The voice of the woman singing bellowed through the cathedral. Wow was it beautiful

.Looks like I am going to have to shrink my pictures in order to post more.

Ooo la la and sacre bleu! Those are some sweet pix, Nighthawlk! I am not sure about flying over the "big pond", so kudos to you just for gettin' on the dang plane!

We only had about 8 hours to spend in Paris before we needed to return to the aiport for our next flight. How to see paris on fast forward. We got onto a green line bus its a double decker that you can get on and off of. Our next stop the Heifel Tower. At this point tiered and sick were really kicking in. Travel time was 16 hrs and a 6 hour time differance.

Awesome photos NH. You must have a good camera as I took my son a few years back and we never got such good photos of the Notre Dame. I think you have to have an eye for photography as well which you definitely do.

I wish I knew about those green buses... I was scared and couldn't speak French, was alone with a 13 year old who didn't want to be there so we walked everywhere and my son hated me for it.

I needed to find a pharmacy to try and get anything to help my daughter feel a little better. So we started walking. The challenge where the many stairs. We walked from the Tower to the Chan De Lise. Got some meds along the way. I was so happy and impressed with the distance I managed to walk.

We stopped for lunch that was a shock to the wallet but pleasent to be with my daughter in a city that niether of us had been to before. Below I will post random pictures from the rest of this long day prior to boarding our next flight.
