I'm a survivor of significant and prolonged trauma. I have PTSD. I also am highly educated, intelligent, brave, compassionate, well-read, and I like to travel.

I know I'm not worthless, on a logical level. I still feel that way, though, deep down, on an emotional level. Especially when my symptoms are out of control.

I wish bad things just never happened, so no one would have to go through this.

You are correct that you have PTSD, but that is what you have and not who you are. You are all of the attributes you listed plus probably many you didn't list. I hope you find the information and support here beneficial to your healing and the rebuilding of your self.
