I might be a bit late on this one... but what about the one off Ghost - I'm Henry 8th I am I am?

I LOVE comedy Country songs - they're possibly not supposed to be as hilarious as I find them but I find that The Wurzzles I've Got a Brand New Combine Harvester always makes me smile and Kenny Chesney's She Thinks my Tractor's Sexy.

But that could just be me...:roflmao:

Unreasonably pleased to find you are a Dan Hicks fan Alby! (I personally like singing - yes, anything from Where's the Money - but also a later tune "I don't want love." "If love makes you give up steak and tomatoes, eggs over easy, hash brown potatoes, if love makes you give up ONION RINGS..... I don't want love.")

Actually my big suggestion is my favorite Sesame Street song - "What's the Name of That Song?" Which is actually quite tricky to keep track of while singing!

And Nadia - the button factory one is a great favorite with the kindergardeners here in Calaveras County!

We sing in the car a lot. Ladybug Picnic is always good for a few go rounds...

I have been inconsistent about singing my silly song. Losing my most trusted doctor set me back for a bit. Plus I kept losing count of how many days and I need to be able to do that to scratch it off my list of 101 goals in 1001 days.

I do though notice, that my mood improves when I am able to do it. I guess that's why I put it down as a goal in the first place. :O_o: I started this as a thread instead of my diary because it was a 30 day challenge. When I restart this challenge, I think this time I'll just keep the thread active and count the days... like a check in thread. That way I won't lose count?

Movin' On, are you observing any improvements?

Yes, when I consciously sing the song I chose it makes me smile a bit inside and stops the internal chatter. Also, I've noticed that other old favorite silly songs are popping to mind which is nice because usually I have a song I hate stuck in my head.
