That would be great if you would pass that info on. My friend said that even though he has been diagnosed with PTSD, he "doesn't believe in PTSD".... So I am not sure how to approach the subject of peer support with him, if and when, he contacts me again. I don't want to overstep any boundaries with him, but I care about him a lot and I clearly see the signs of PTSD and those signs I haven't seen, he has told me about. I find myself in a crazy situation here, I care about him a lot and I know that he opened up to me about his experiences and I am sure that helped, but now I am shut out and feeling at a loss as to how to deal with the situation. On the one hand, I am giving him space, but on the other, I really want him to know I am still here. And I know he could benefit so much from a support group I am sure, just have no idea how to suggest something like that to him, given the current situation.
