hi there,

im a new member. i'm a CSA and child abuse survivor. currently making my way through school. i've been diagnosed with CPTSD and it has become debilitating over these past few months. i have visual flashbacks, somatic flashbacks, and severe sensory flashbacks as well as younger parts that often take over after flashbacks occur.

im trying to heal and trying to find support that those around me can't necessarily give due to not understanding or experiencing CPTSD. im looking forward to meeting new people and finding support and offering it as well.

@tired-dreamer Hi there back, I too have CSA (child sexual abuse) in my past; and welcome to myptsd.com (I'm a new member as well) and I know you are going to find this forum's members as I have willing to help you as you move forward in recovery. I could not do this also without a therapist, as well. I'm in EMDR and have my 8th session tomorrow. It's very difficult, and at this moment I am anxiety-ridden because of tomorrow's session. I am trying to stay in the moment and not in tomorrow. Looking forward to more of your posts when you are ready to do so. Again, welcome. You will find members here compassionate, caring, and very knowledgeable about CPTSD. (((healing hugs))) JadesJewel
