All of my VA docs know I use MMJ. Some of them disagree and think I should take more pills... Like the time I was taking 60mg Paxil, 4mg Xanax, and 600mg Seroquil per day.. Surprised I didn't die from heart failure.

Hell with that mix it s less heart failure and more like complete system shut down. Goddamned Docs and their lissts and pills really piss me off. (I am on pills, but not for the PTSD, I have seizures and ahnor bof brain damage...)

I had to give up pot years ago, but I would kill for some good shit right about now, if I didnt know Id get crucified uopside down an have diesmbowl left for crosw

I think sometimes they just get tired of dealing with us and give us what they know can be lethal.. Lost an Army buddy 2 years ago from a similar mix so I went off em cold turkey. I still take Xanax from time to time, but I really try not to.

xanax and the rest of the bezos are the worst, followed by the prasosin and any of the "depression" drugs. Most Docs are idiots that just read off cheklists

I requested the xanax just for the holidays. Long term use(beyond 90 days) it is ineffective. The other downside to benzos is that they haven been proven to trigger psychotic episodes in Combat related PTSDers. Bad shit for us, good for civilians.

The prazosin works, but it is a blood pressure med and its use in the US for PTSD is off label use. The only reason it works is it drops your pressure so low your brain starves for oxygen when you hit REM. bad shit if you have other health issues.

Rather grow my own, the legal medical shit is sketchy at best. Used to laugh at the schwag they were selling in the CA dispensaries. HAd a better, albeit illegal supply out there that was cheaper too. Once I started growing my legal 8 plants out there, that all changed. Didnt pay for shit, and hybridized and cloned for the best results. Slept well but wasn't gonzo stoned all the time.

But these f*cking Nebraskans shot down our oil/hash/butter bill, so us vets and cancer patients get to suffer instead. Yay Republicans and Christian Blind Zealots!

Sorry about Nebraska.. And now they're using your tax dollars to pay for a law suit against Colorado.. Not sure if you've heard about that one yet, but yeah it's pretty stupid.. mmj isn't a complete cure all, but it sure as hell helps more than any pill.

It wont fly. Everyone knows Nebraska doesn't really exist, they just needed a placeholder on the map between Colorado and Iowa. The real reason however is law enforcement on the western border is making hundreds of thousands of bucks nabbing stoners- they will not let their new cash cow be slaughtered.
