Please bear in mind questions will be asked. We've had trolls here before and more than a few weirdos. Hell Anthony even vetted a few of us a while back when we converted to vets only. Asked me personally to clarify my combat status. Which is small compared to some of you guys. But I did it.

Also LSUTiger. Nobody can see your where and when. You don't have to talk about the what. But generally everyone knows the where and when about everyone else here. Helps us relate. Otherwise we get uncomfortable as you can see.

It's not enough to show a flag and say I have PTSD. Sorry, but that's the facts. Besides the site management is going to ask eventually anyway.

And you know yourself it is important to feel safe in order to be comfortable. Which is why all of this just happened. So lets just up with basic facts before I have to hurt myself.

Just as an aside, there is an american AWI flag in the yorks and lancs museum. I think its unofficial, but its pretty nice work. Painted on as well it was.

Stirred up war for a few rich guys. You guys were busy with France and had a crazy King, so we took advantage. The merchant class got the most benefit from it. It started with good intentions, don't get me wrong. But the right to self determination was a very loose term after. Hey if you got an army, do what you want.

All Nations start with a national myth. Probably allot of things that never really happened. Just like your King Arthur and other tales of Kings/Queens gone by. Hell there is probably even some myth about Churchill floating around. All in all Edward III was the tops. Now there was a king.

Anyway probably cursing in church here, And I know I'll catch hell for that first statement. But i just narrowly missed a bar fight on here and I'm ready with........shit, nothing but plastic bottles around.

Hey LSUTigerfan, there are a lot of good people here. We're here to listen and learn from each other. We all have our issues which get out of hand from time to time. This is a safe place to blow off steam with people who have been where you are now. I know from my own experience what uncontrolable rage can get you when you have no place to release it appropriately. It just adds to the frustration and aggitation. My temper has almost cost me my military career. As I've said before, those who have never suffered from PTSD have no idea what its like to feel so out of control and just pissed at the world. I hope that you find some of the answers your looking for, if not here, then someplace. It's cliche to say it, but it takes time and a whole lot of trial and error. Hang in there. I know that doesn't mean much but its from the heart. All of us here suffer with the beast. Sometimes he wins but most of the time we do. Take care.
