Hi all,
I haven't been on here in a little while. I haven't felt like I needed to be on here for a while.
I've been doing this kind of health/exercise/mental wellbeing program that has been making me feel better than usual. It's not a substitute for therapy and certainly won't cure me but it's helped me manage stress so much better and I thought I'd share for anyone interested.
The program is called 28 - it's an Australian program but open to anyone (as long as you can put up with our accent!) It cost me $50 something I think for the month and it gives me healthy meal recipes, 28 minute workout daily and the best part I love that I'd never seen in a exercise/health program before - it gives me readings and mindfulness activities prepared by a psychologist. It's really helped my binge-eating and my overall stress. Doesn't stop the flashbacks though - damn it! lol
You might not be interested, I guess it's not for everyone, but just in case someone was looking for something like this I thought I'd post.
The website is - www.28bysamwood.com
If you find it interesting and want to sign up there's also a private facebook page and I've found that really helps my motivation to be my best. I do have a referral code, not because I'm selling the program or involved in running it in any way, but in terms of transparency I will say I can win a month free - which is not at all why I'm posting this, I would have made this post regardless. I just wanted to let you know how successful and in control I feel at the moment and hope it stays that way - and share the something I've found that fits me and helps me along this stressful journey.
Much love to you all and I hope you are winning in the PTSD management battle.
