Hello all,
This morning I was woken up by a text from my boyfriend about how he was having new nightmares. I know how to help him when I am physically there, but I am at a loss when I am in one state and he is in another. I figured I would call him, but he was at the airport and was pretty tied up for time. Also, I figured that would not be the right time or place to have such a discussion. I'm anticipating that him and I will talk tonight, but what do I even say or do? It hurts so bad to only be able to say "I'm sorry" or "I wish I could just take the nightmares away."
So my question is, how can I help him? Obviously I know pressing him to tell me about the nightmare is out of the question. What can I do? I am open to any advice. Thank you all so much!
