Anni, thank you! *blush* This was just my camera phone. I really wish I had a good camera. I keep hoping Santa will bring me a digital SLR one of these years. One of your fur babies met up with a skunk huh? Tooth paste really helps to cut the smell...even better than the commercial smell busters. If your dog is big, take a couple tubes of toothpaste and smear them all over him, from tip to tail, focusing on the face (which is where they usually get blasted...poor babies). Scrub it into the fur, and let it sit for a few minutes. Then rinse REALLY well.
Jawn, Idy Bidy looks like a merle. What a beautiful coat. It is always hard when they pass. 16 is a long life, and I sure you managed to pack tons of fun into that time.
I read one of your other posts about how many doxies you have, and that they are special needs kids. Bless your cotton socks for that! I have a special spot in my heart for the ones that need a little extra help.
I will post a pic of my dog, Gus. He lives with my mum because I moved around a lot and it wasn't good for him (I was living in Whistler BC and my life was chaotic), so I made the decision to send him back to my mum's house where he has a fully fenced in yard, someone always home, and a couple other dogs that he can chase around and play with. We were told he would be about 16, but we figure he is older. He is a rescue boy too, and the 9 years we have had him, he has brought a lot of laughter into our lives. He was with me through a lot of hard stuff, and he is my special boy.
