So I occasionally have extremely terrible nightmares/flashbacks that causes me to wake up in a complete panic. Usually on those days I feel distorted and sad and I can't get these scenes from my dream out of my head even hours later. I read alot about self care and I have many hobbies but nothing seems to take the edge off. Does anyone experience anything similar and of so my question is what do you usually do on these stressful days? Do you lock yourself away till the emotional roller coaster is over or do you seek company or get up to keep yourself busy? I don't want to feel this way anymore but I'm too nervous, scared, emotionally wrecked to move. How do you cope on these days?
